Amalienborg is the palace of the Royal family and consist of 4 equal palaces around an octogon. Here the South-Eastern palace (Christian IX's Palace or Schacks Palace) which is the Quens recidential palace. The Equestrian statue is of King Frederik V, created by Jacques-Francois-Joseph Saly in 1771.
